Pablo Mosteiro was born in Buenos Aires in 1985. During his childhood his favorite music was rock, especially Argentine rock. At the age of 18 he moved to the United States with his parents. Exploring his parents' CD collection, he found three records by Carlos Gardel, Julio Sosa, and Ástor Piazzolla, and there began his love for tango. In 2008 he started a new radio program "The Death of Tango", on WPRB Princeton, where he interviewed the most important figures of contemporary tango. The program led him to explore multiple genres within tango. As a result of this discovery, a need to express himself through tango arose, and in 2011 he began his career as a tango singer.
From 2014 to 2019 Pablo lived in the United Kingdom, before arriving in the Netherlands in 2020. He has sung in Argentina, the USA, the UK, Italy, the Netherlands, Japan, Spain, and Turkey.
In December 2021 Pablo spent a month in Buenos Aires and recorded his first album, “Ni cuenta se dan” (“They don’t even realize”), produced by Pablo Mosteiro, Néstor Basurto and Tomás Díaz. Also participating are Nehuén Martino and Matías Vega (La Martino Orquesta Típica), Ushi Cerviño (Los Mangrulleros), and Maxi Cortez (Bombay Buenos Aires). The album, which reflects Pablo's relationship with tango over 10 years, is a tribute to the ignored, the forgotten, to those who feel that their sudden disappearance from Earth would not leave the slightest trace of them. This feeling is typical of the emigranted. The disc contains 11 songs: eight tangos, a waltz, a milonga and a candombe, combining own compositions and those of others, and classical and modern tangos.
The first presentation of the album was in November 2022 at Club Social Cambalache, in the traditional Buenos Aires neighborhood of San Telmo (Buenos Aires, Argentina). Pablo currently presents his album in the Netherlands, where he lives, and in the rest of Europe.
